  • Smoke Alarms

Smoke alarms double your chances of surviving a fire in your home by providing early warning and time for escape. Place smoke alarms immediately outside sleeping areas, inside of bed rooms in accordance with state code Vol. 3 section R317 of the Residential code and at the top of open stairways on every level of your home. Test the smoke alarm once a month and change the batteries twice a year.
